The Hamilton Hammerheads will have their fall information and registration meeting on Wed. Sept. 8, 2010 at 7 PM.

Registration night will be at McNeil Baptist Church, corner of King St. West and Cline, enter through side door off King St. West. 

Kudoos to the City of Hamilton for hosting the 24th annual Sport Volunteer Appreciation Banquet where all those volunteers who make sports happen for the youth in the city are officially recognized.  Many thought the event this year was the best yet and the key-note speech by multi-Olympic medalist Clara Hughes was exceptional.  Olympians Becky Keller and Brad Martin also spoke to the attendees.  http://www.sporthamilton.com/index.php

Ancaster High School Triathlon May 28th

The first triathlon of the season in the region is always the Ancaster High School Tri, this year on May 28th. Again this year many Hamilton Hammerheads will be participating in this fundraising event as members of their school teams. Many others have conflicts on this Friday but have elected to help coach the senior elementary school teams; teams made up of many first time triathlon competitiors who just what to check out the fun of completing their first triathlon. http://www.ancasternews.com/news/article/206497

Members of the Hamilton Hammerheads completed the spring Cycle Drafting Clinic with all participants cycling to a fun-fillled passing experience. Thanks again to coach Sean and all the best to Sean from the Hammerheads as he takes on his new position in the wild west.

Pan-Am Games 2015 seem like a long way down the road but the planning that goes into first class facilities that will become a legacy for a life-time, have already started.  Whether the pool, the velodrome or the track, everyone will benefit.  Support the Pan-Am Games 2015.  Support all our future athletes in Hamilton and all the Americas.  http://www.toronto2015.org/

The bike wash fundraiser was Sunday April 18th at the AncasterArena.  The team and turned out in record numbers and washed a record number of muddy bikes.  Thanks team.

March Break Training in Florida

For the second year in a row the Hamilton Hammerheads travelled to Clermont, Florida during March Break for a fun-filled training camp amongst the hills of central Florida and the NTC track and pool.  If interested in joining the team in March 2011 for the training camp in Florida, contact us at hamiltonhammerheadsac.at.gmail.com.

It was another great Hammerhead night at the Festival Banquet Center on October 30, 2009.  Awesome speaker, great moments -  can’t wait until next year!
